Distribution map of Huernia hadhramautica (my own records)
History: Huernia hadhramautica was first collected by John Lavranos in August 1962, during a trip to former Southern Arabian Federation (Yemen now), near Mola Matr in the Hadhramaut region. Lavranos also published the plant next year together with another new Huernia (H. marnieriana) from that region in 1963.
Peter Bruyns pointed out to include also H. rubra in H. hadhramautica (2005).
