Etymology: concinnus (lat.) - pretty, elegant

Distribution: Somalia (Somaliland).

History: Plant was collected in 1896 in Somaliland by Mrs. Lort-Phillips and Sir Edmond Loder and sent to the Cambridge Botanical Garden. Plant flowered in botanical garden in 1900. It was described from a living plant in 1903 by N. E. Brown as Huernia concinna.
